But credit where credit is due for YouTube, who tweeted out this wonderful little video, as soon as PewDiePie hit the landmark. Now, the actual relationship between PewDiePie and YouTube has been somewhat strained over the past couple of years, due to controversies on PewDiePie's channel. But of course, no subscriber count ever stays static for long. Anyway, that is your official date and time recorded in history for all to see. Though how anyone is ever going to prove that, is beyond me. No doubt caused by thousands of people clicking the subscribe button at exactly the same time, to try and be the 100 millionth PewDiePie subscriber. Yep, you saw that right? A jump of 70 subscribers in a single second. ![]() Let's slow things down to real time, and watch the very moment PewDiePie hit 100 million subscribers.
